In this training program, an incident is referred to as an accident (event lead to personal injury, property damage or environmental concerns) or a near miss (event could have led to personal injury, property damage or environmental concerns but for fortunate reasons it did not). The prime objective of conducting a thorough incident investigation is to prevent a similar recurrence in the workplace. Finding the root causes of an incident requires a systematic approach with trained investigators. Case scenarios are used reinforce techniques that are used to conduct effective investigations. Audience response devices are used to keep the participants engaged !
