One of the most hazardous things employees do is work in the proximity to traffic. Worker protection in “temporary traffic control zones” relies heavily on competent workers being able to recognize, assess and implement adequate control measures. The OHSA Regulation- Construction Projects -addresses Traffic Control from a legal perspective--- Book 7 is considered to be the “best practices” with respect to working in the proximity to traffic.
